The truth

The truth

Lesson Of life

Lesson Of life

One thing I have learn in my 56 years, that nothing is permanent. Everything is only here and yours for a short while so we might as well enjoy everything we have in life and not take it for granted

The Bad

Things you take for granted in life: Your wife, parents, friends and other family members can be taken away from you in a split second.
I have three very dear friends that I care about deeply. I'm afraid that two of them are headed for an early grave.
One of my very close friends since I was 13 years old had throat cancer. He had an operation that cured him but he has gone back to smoking which will kill him. I can't express enough to him what he is doing to me, his family, wife and kids. His children are young enough to feel his death for the rest of their lives. He blames everyone but himself for the position he is in. He will not do his exercise to strengthen the muscles in his throat. Four months after his operation he still isn’t eating solid foods. There's nothing anyone can do for him if he won’t listen, so I am getting myself ready for the day of his death, as ready as I can get.

My second friend has always been a good friend to me. Always there when I needed someone. Now she has a tumor in her brain that keeps growing and cannot be operated on. I feel terrible that I can not help her. All I can do is be there for her, but that is not enough for me. It will have to do. She, unlike my other friend, would do anything to have a chance for a normal life again. But that is not in the cards for her. The only thing she can look forward is death but she still goes on strong like nothing is wrong. My first friend should take lesson from her.

My cousin was just getting his life on track when it all fell apart. He took a vacation down in Atlantic City. It would be the last vacation he would every take. Two waves hit him and knocked him on his face against the sandy bottom and paralyzed him for life. This was Aug 2,2005 to this date he still has not gained full use of his arms ,hands, legs or any other part of his body. He has ended up in a nursing homewhic is the worst place for a quadriplegic. They are not trained to handle his needs. He needs to be worked on at least three times a week with different exercises to strengthen his muscles. Everyday he does not receive this help, is a day that he will never be better. If we do not get him out of there soon or get him the help he needs he will always be a quad. That is a horrible way of living. He has to depend on strangers to help him with everything. Just think how you would feel to be in his shoes. There are plenty of Allen’s out there. We all better take a stand to help them because each and everyone of us could be them. There before God goes I.

Another dear friend was just diagnosed with cancer. We don’t know how bad it is. Hopefully it is the beginning stages where it can be caught and cured quickly. She is a person that it always there for others never caring for herself. This may sound bitter I will be curious to see how many of her friends go out of their way for her. I know my wife and I will. We love her.

The GOOD

My wife, I thank G-D for her. Every day I get up and she is there under the covers and every day the first thing out of her mouth is how you feel. She asked me that because I suffer with real bad allergies. She has brought light in to a dark existence. Even though my daughter was my light I needed more in my life. My wife brought that with her. She is what I had been asking for all my life and I finally feel complete. She is the humor the joy, support and love I have longed for. Thank you G-D for this gift of all gifts. I promise not to take it in vain and to treat her with all the love and respect she deserves
My daughter: She was always my greatest joy in my life, Throughout my whole life even though we had our moments. I loved her with all my heart and soul. She always made me proud to be her father even thought she didn't think so. Your were the one steady thing in my life when I needed happiness. When I needed to laugh you always made me laugh. Just stay the way you are. There is nothing you can do that will make me feel different.
Now my daughter has given my wife and me two wonderful grandchildren and the third on the way. She truly is my joy in life.

My mother who always stood by me no matter what I put her through and trust me, I put her through hell. From stealing a car to cutting school, stealing money from her wallet and other items from the house. I also moved in with my father only several blocks away, only because she wouldn't let me do what I wanted. Through everything she always stood by me and encouraged me to do my best. She married a man that would end up being my dad not just a father. Anyone can father a child as they say it takes a special man to be a dad. Ben was that Dad my one and only. Through him I have learn a lot of important lesson. I only wish I could be half the man he was. Mom, you did a great job raising all three of us and better job of choosing a real dad for us to emulate.

In closing, I have to admit that all the Good and Bad in our lives they're there for a reason to teach us all life lessons. To make us better in our life and to give us something to look back on and pull from in the future.
It is said the G-D will not give us more that we can handle. Sometimes I agree and others times I question it. But who am I to question G-D?

I don't understand

This whole country was up in arms over a President getting a little extra at the White House. I feel that was an issue between the family not America. If we only knew what our dear President Kennedy did in the same white house would we have not complained as much back then? This country was more forgiving at that time. There hasn't been a time in history that a sitting President didn't have a affair.
Yet. we have a president in office that is leading us down a path of destruction with his own self centered agenda. He has gotten us in a war that we will never win and that we can't pull out of. He did this just to prove a point. That's what you call a dangerous man and no one is calling for him to be impeached. Not even after he leaked stories that could have had someone killed. Someone who did not agree with him. Mr Bush should of never become president of anything let alone the USA. Here is a man that everything he has touched has turned to crap. His oil business, his baseball team. Daddy had to bail him out. Well daddy can't bail him out of this one. The people of the United States of America will and it will cost us plenty.

Herb Krantz at Artman Art Show

Artist Bio Herb A Krantz

• Around age 50 I started to appreciate art again. A friend of ours (Bill Campbell) introduced me to art auctions. Bill Campbell had awakened my love of art. Five years ago I started going to art auctions at Park West Galleries, first on their cruise ships and then at their land auctions. I now, have 30 pieces of art in my collection. The artists that inspired me to start my journey into the world art was Anatole Krasnyansky, Dali, De kooning, Jackson Pollack and Peter Max, whom I had the brief pleasure of meeting. You will find that a lot of my art contains cartoon type carters. This type of art was my way of expressing myself when I first started as a child. Even now in most of my early paintings, I couldn’t pass up the chance to add some kind of face or cartoon, however lately I have gone towards abstract art. My backgrounds are a mixture of techniques with different blends of color and paints. I will use brushes, knives, rollers or anything I can get my hands on. I have no real formal training; however I have attended several art classes in the past four years and entered several shows.

EDUCATION:
• The first class I attended was on “How to Draw in 2001. It was a night class that was held at Upper Dublin High School in Dresher Pa. The teacher was a local published artist by the name of Mike Swede. In 2002 and 2003, I attended watercolor classes that were held at Tammont Park Art Center. The art teacher was a very well known artist named Joan Feiss. Joan was known not only around Montgomery County but in Bucks and Philadelphia Counties as well as Cape May and other shore towns. In 2004 and2005 I attended Classes at Mercer County Community College at the Artworks in Trenton N.J. The teacher was Michael Madigan. He was a well travel artist with several shows. This October I have started another class on how to draw with Barbra Lewis that is held at Mixed Media’s art Gallery.

Art Shows
• My first show was in 2002 at Tammont Park Art Center. My second show was held at Artman Community Center in 2003. I placed six works in that show. I was asked to place several pieces at the Artworks show in 2005 but I couldn’t due to being out of town that week.
• I have sold several pieces privately through the net on an artist web site www.yessy.com I was also commissioned to create a special work using special colors for a bedroom.
• This November my art will be displayed at Artman Community Center art show again. I am also working to place several pieces of art in local galleries

Can you Believe it!!? Bush #1 Asshole

Our dear old president is at it again, this time he has lost his mind (what little he had), altogether. Maybe he is hitting the bottle again. How can he forget what the Arab counties have done to us especially this country in general. They support the terrorist's cause in every aspect as they pretend to be our friends.
On top of everything, he makes a statement that a foreign country owns half of the company that runs the ports now. The difference, stupid, is that it was Great Britain who is our ally, not enemy.
This President is going to set us back so far that we will never see the light of day for generations to come no matter who becomes president after him. He should be put out to pasture like they do with all animals that have lost it. I can't believe that the majority of you voted this moron into office again. Maybe now you see the mistake you have made for all of us.
